Starting March 1, 2026, AM-LAB (Attention and Memory Laboratory) will continue its research at the Greater Bay Area Center for Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence at Southern Medical University.
AM-LAB investigates the neural mechanisms of attention and memory, combining behavioral experiments, EEG, fMRI, and human intracranial electrophysiology (iEEG) to understand how the brain selects, encodes, and stores information. Research from the lab has appeared in journals including Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, Communications Biology, and Trends in Cognitive Sciences.
The new center provides a multidisciplinary platform integrating neuroscience, medicine, and engineering, together with extensive clinical resources from Southern Medical University’s affiliated hospital network. This environment will facilitate new collaborations and support the lab’s research on brain dynamics, cognition, and neural computation.
By joining this center, AM-LAB aims to further advance fundamental research in cognitive neuroscience and strengthen collaborations across the Greater Bay Area and international research communities.
自 2026年3月1日 起,AM-LAB(Attention and Memory Laboratory) 将在南方医科大学粤港澳大湾区脑科学与类脑研究中心开展后续科研工作。
